Digital Health ID

• Health ID under National Digital Health Mission is a free of cost, voluntary.
• This health account will contain details of every test, every disease, the doctors visited, the medicines taken and the diagnosis.
• This information will be very useful as it is portable and easily accessible even if the patient shifts to new place and visits a new doctor.
• The digital health ID is a 14-digit number that can be generated on the website, healthid.ndhm.gov.in, as and when the scheme is implemented.
• There will be two options for generating it — one by using Aadhaar and the other by using the phone number.
